Strategic Workforce Planning Lead

My Role at MAG

I am responsible for building MAG’s SWP capability, developing 5-year workforce plans for each airport in the group to forecast future skills aligned with the Group’s 5 and 25 year business plans.

My work also supports MAG’s shift towards a skills-based organisation by strengthening strategic talent pipelines, identifying critical roles, and supporting robust succession planning.

Manchester Airports Group (MAG) is the UK’s largest airport operator, managing Manchester, London Stansted, and East Midlands airports, alongside digital travel services business CAVU. for affordable passenger travel.

What is the value of AISB membership to your organisation?

AISB membership provides MAG with a valuable platform to connect with peers across the aviation sector on the shared challenge of skills development.

Being part of the network has supported our work by offering a forum to shape thinking on future skills and workforce policy.

The opportunity to engage with policymakers and industry leaders through AISB also helps us position MAG’s workforce strategy within the broader aviation skills agenda, strengthening our ability to plan for long-term capability.
